Senator (Dr.) David Alechenu Bonaventure Mark, President of the 6th and 7th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently emeritus member of the 8th Senate, is a well-respected politician, business man and a retired Brigadier-General. He also possesses the enviable record of being the longest serving Senator (1999 to-date) and the longest serving President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (2007-2015).
Senator Mark’s capacity and grounding in bridge building, legislative engagement and policy action is revered. As President of the Senate, Senator Mark demonstrated considerable maturity in leading his colleagues and managing national issues. He is a consummate team player. Prior to his emergence as President of the Senate in June 2007, Senator Mark served as Chairman of the Senate Committees on Communications, Banking and Currency, Police Affairs and Science and Technology. He also served as a Member of the Senate Committees on Defence, Governmental Affairs, Internal Affairs, Police Affairs, Security and Intelligence, Cooperation and Integration in Africa and Local and Foreign Debt.
Mrs. Adeola Azeez is a seasoned banker with over 20 years expertise in Correspondent Banking. Bold and outspoken she rose to become the Deputy Country Representative/ Deputy Managing Director, Deutsche Bank Nigeria. Deutsche Bank is a leading client-centric global universal bank with approximately 30 million customer accounts and activities in more than 70 countries and jurisdictions. In her role as Deputy Managing Director of Deutsche Bank Nigeria, Mrs. Azeez oversees the bank’s business operations in the region, including managing liaisons between Deutsche Bank offshore and its client base of Nigerian Banks. She has successfully guided the local financial institutional clients across the spectrum of international financial services and the myriad of challenges of correspondent banking.
Mrs. Mosunmola Belo-Olusoga is the Principal Consultant/ Programme Director of The KRC Limited and Chairperson of Access Bank Plc. She served on the Board of Asset and Resource Management Company and previously chaired the Equipment and Leasing Association of Nigeria.
She had an illustrious banking career spanning nearly 3 decades. She retired from Guaranty Trust Bank in 2006 as Executive Director, Investment Banking. She was at various times responsible for Risk Management, Corporate and Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Transaction Services and Settlement.
Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede is the President of the National Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. Until his retirement in 2013 he was the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc. During his tenure, the Bank was transformed to rank amongst Nigeria’s top 5 Banks.
Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Executive Management Programme holds an LLB and a BL Degree from University of Benin and the Nigerian Law School respectively. He is a fellow of the African Leadership Institute under the auspices of Aspen Institute, Colorado USA. Aigboje is also an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Banker of Nigeria (CIBN).
